AUTOMATED VARIABLE SPEED DRIVE PUMP OFF CONTROL SYSTEM
INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY DESIGNED FOR NON-ELECTRIFIED OILFIELDS AT GENERALLY HALF THE COST OF RUNNING EXPENSIVE GENERATORS IN REMOTE LOCATIONS
FIELD-TESTED. GAME-CHANGING.
Some benefits seen in two fields were quite dramatic due to the high workover frequency and cost of workovers which made these fields ideal candidates for pump off control with SCADA. Workovers were reduced by 75% in both fields over a period of two to three years. The operator witnessed an increase in production, 25% reduction in maintenance costs which included: surface equipment, stuffing box packing, belt replacements, well head leaks, etc.
Other intangible benefits include trending, pressure monitoring if so equipped which would also aid in the selection and optimization of casing gas compression. The trending also allowed for chemical program optimization, and reduced chemical costs by 20-25%.

POC with VSD vs. Timers
Automated Pump Off Control (POC) with Variable Speed Drive (VSD) has reduced rod and tubing failures by 30%, reduced surface equipment failures by 15%, reduced fluid pound significantly, reduced bottom hole pump failures, and also reduced bottom hole pump failures resulting from rod-parts. POC with VSD also ensured the wells are pumped off reducing fluid levels and therefore decreasing the back pressure on the formation and increasing inflow thereby optimizing oil production.

KEY BENEFITS
POC Hydraulic Technologies provides oilfield producers with innovative, automated hydraulic pump
off control technology. The patent-pending 'speed control' technology solves a multitude of problems for oil companies operating in locations where electricity is not readily available. Automated pump off controllers operating off of the electric grid or electric generators have been proven to improve oil production, dramatically reduce workovers, lower Lease Operating Expenses (LOEs) and reduce capital costs for the customer.
One key embodiment of conventional pumpjack natural gas driven hydraulic equipment is the ability to have infinite control of the rod string on both the upstroke as well as the downstroke independently, thus allowing a slower deceleration and a faster acceleration, resulting in a more efficient and controlled rod reversal effect.
Simply put, we've developed hydraulic pump off control technology operating under the same principle as its electric pump off control predecessor. The only difference is, our system delivers a 0V to 10V signal to an electronic controller provided from a wireless load cell mounted on the conventional pumpjack rod string. This technology replaces systems with an electronic signal measured in Hertz (HZ) in electric applications proven so successful in oil fields around the world.
Accordingly, we've developed safe and user-friendly field operating procedures that support a robust, heavy-duty hydraulic system providing years of trouble free operation to oil producers.
